Cookie Policy

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files websites store in your browser to remember you between visits. Local storage is a similar browser feature that keeps data on your device until you clear it. Both can power anything from essential features (keeping you signed in) to cross-site tracking — this page lists exactly which ones we use and why.
What we use
Resort Buggy keeps browser storage to a minimum. Analytics and advertising are off by default: Google Tag Manager and any analytics or ad tags load only after you opt in through the cookie banner — Google Consent Mode v2 keeps analytics, ads, and personalization denied until then. You can change or withdraw your choice anytime via Cookie settings in the footer.
Marketing site (resortbuggy.com)
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| rb-audience | Remembers audience toggle (Resort/Golf) | LocalStorage, until cleared |
| rb_consent_v1 | Stores your cookie-consent choices (Google Consent Mode v2) | LocalStorage, until cleared |
| ad_param_* (e.g. ad_param_gclid) | Remembers the ad click that brought you here — only set if you arrive via an ad and only used to measure conversions if you consent | LocalStorage, until cleared |
| rb-utm | Remembers which campaign link brought you here (only set if you arrive via one), attached to demo bookings and pilot applications | SessionStorage, until tab closes |
App (app.resortbuggy.com)
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| token | JWT authentication | LocalStorage, 7 days |
| mapView:<resort> | Remembers your last map position and zoom per resort | LocalStorage, until cleared |
| notifications-card-dismissed | Remembers you dismissed the enable-notifications prompt | LocalStorage, until cleared |
Your choices
You can clear browser storage at any time via your browser settings. The app requires the JWT to function — clearing it logs you out.
Third-party services
Google Tag Manager loads our analytics and advertising tags (such as Google Analytics and Google Ads) — but only on the marketing site and only after you opt in via the cookie banner. Until you consent, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics, ads, and personalization storage denied. Google's privacy policy.
Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-spam) sets a temporary cookie during form submission. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cal.com (demo scheduling) loads on the Book a Demo page and may set its own cookies for the booking widget. Cal.com's privacy policy.
